Lauren M. Cycyk, MS, CCC-SLP is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Temple University.  Her research focuses on sociocultural and environmental factors that influence the language development of young Latino children and culturally appropriate interventions that facilitate the early language development of this population. Lauren’s work has been funded by the Office of Multicultural Affairs of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is an Emerging Research Scholar of the Bridging the Word Gap Research Network.
