We wanted to make you aware that Education Secretary Arne Duncan has announced he will step down at the end of the year. The following is from Politico:

Education Secretary Arne Duncan is stepping down in December, the White House said today. Former New York state commissioner John King, a deputy secretary at the agency for the last few months, will take his place.
