Hello,

Are you teaching this summer? Are you spending this summer researching or writing grants?

If not, you can stop reading and get back to your fun. For the rest of us:

If teaching and asking your students to do a little research, you might consider - you may have students new to campus that might need some guidance on the UO Library system. With the compressed summer class schedule and the summer hours of the Library novices may find locating material a frustrating experience. Consider a presentation about library resources - I am here this summer and would be delighted to speak to your class. Getting them off to a quick and productive start could reduce stress. Some students have already contacted me, and while I love meeting one-on-one with students, I do have a limited calendar and I worry about the students that need help but are reticent to ask -a class presentation usually works best.

If needing a little help on your own projects - I am here and am available for consultation.

Cheers,

Katy

P.S. A reminder: As the temperature rises, the Library is deliciously air-conditioned!
