coe-staff: COE Awards Nominations Now Open

Dear College of Education Friends:

The time is right for you to help recognize the excellence and contributions of your colleagues among faculty, staff, OAs and teaching GTFs. Attached please find a nomination form for College-wide awards in nine categories of activity, to be presented to the winners at a special ceremony that will take place on Friday, May 15.

Please submit your nominations to this office by 5:00pm on Friday, April 17 for consideration. Nominations may come from any employee or group of employees of the UO, or currently-enrolled students.

Additionally, the Awards Committee currently has two openings to fill due to departures since our last award cycle, and one new position-one for a faculty member, one for an Officer of Administration, and one for a graduate student. Please submit nominations (including self-nominations) to me (haskins at uoregon.edu<mailto:haskins at uoregon.edu>).  Between these various openings, we are looking for representation from Special Education and Clinical Sciences and from the Research and Outreach units. Current members of the committee are listed on the attached nomination form. The deadline for these nominations is 5:00pm on Friday, April 10.
