coe-staff: Ron Tuomi is Retiring! (from Dean Kamphaus)

Dear Colleagues,

How many ways are there to say a BIG THANK YOU to Ron Tuomi for his outstanding service to the College of Education over the past 18 years? Not enough! Ron has shared his personal good news about retiring and set an up-coming retirement date of March 31, 2015.

This message is to acknowledge the wonderful contributions Ron has made to COE faculty, students and staff throughout his long and quiet but very effective and successful career. Ron has touched the lives of many within our hallowed halls. He has worked with hundreds of students, both current and past, in his position of Student Records Coordinator, helping them as well as our faculty navigate TSPC to secure or renew their licenses. Also, his work with Student Service Coordinators in all departments to finalize approval for all master's degrees in the college is in constant motion. He has been instrumental in advising and launching our graduates in ways that help them achieve their goals.

Ron is about to embark on a new life journey. Please join me in acknowledging Ron and wishing him all the best as he retires.
