coe-staff: UO Senate Meeting January 21

Hi Colleagues - Attached are my notes from last week's Senate meeting.  We mostly dealt with the policy realignment procedures currently underway.  Our last 2 meetings have dealt with policies easily repealed or adopted from the Oregon Administrative Rules or OUS policies.  Our next meetings will deal with policies that will need more discussion.  We also passed a resolution approving the Senate Advisory Committee to the VP for Institutional Equity and Inclusion and established a new award for shared governance, transparency and trust (I'm not kidding).

Policy wonks might like this meeting, all others feel free to delete now.
