See below from Tim Clevenger, associate vice president of communications, marketing and brand management. This communications initiative has been underway for nearly a year, and it’s important for you – our brand ambassadors – to understand the research that informed it, audiences, media, tone, voice, and changes to our visual identity. It is very different from what you’ve seen from the UO to this point, so I strongly encourage you to attend – especially if you have a role in outward-facing communications for your department/program/unit.
If you have any questions about how the campaign will affect the COE, please let me know.

Campus Communicator Colleagues-
As you are aware, the past many months have been occupied with preparation for the launch of the University of Oregon’s new communications initiative to tell the amazing story of the UO’s academic and research endeavors. The campaign launches at the Rose Bowl. I would like to take time to showcase the entire effort, walking participants through the process we used in development to the initiative and show some of the campaign material, including the new television commercial for the UO. I am inviting the campus community, students, alumni and communications colleagues in the area.
Along this year-long process, we’ve taken time to share research highlights with you, review Campaign Strategy and Brand Concept. I have appreciated how you all have taken time to participate in this process – it’s made the work so much better. I now hope you can make time to join me at one (or both) of these sessions and see how this entire campaign is starting to come together. Let me know if you think you can make it.
