coe-staff: Some Administrative Announcements (on behalf of Dean Kamphaus)

Dear COE Faculty, Staff, and Students,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Hollenbeck, Ph.D., Director of Administrative Licensure Programs for the Department of Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership as Interim Associate Dean for Educator Preparation. Keith has kindly agreed to help lead us through the challenges of the next 18 months associated with building our student learning outcomes systems and accreditation. Please join me in expressing your gratitude to Keith for his leadership during this most demanding time.
I am also pleased to announce the re-appointment of Benedict McWhirter, Ph.D., for another three-year term as Head of the Department of Counseling, Psychological, and Human Services beginning this past September. I am confident that Benedict's prior leadership experience will continue to serve his department well. Furthermore, his research on factors that contribute to adolescent risk behaviors and enhance adolescent resilience and effective preventive interventions, and research on emerging adulthood and college student development, retention, and support, allows him to provide skillful leadership of the research mission of the department.
