Kristen Missall is an Associate Professor of School Psychology at the University of Iowa. She received a Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Minnesota, and completed post-doctoral training at the Center for Early Education and Development at the University of Minnesota. Prior to her appointment at the University of Iowa she served on faculty at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests include child development (specifically from ages 3-8), early academic and social development, transition to kindergarten, early school adjustment, and general outcome measurement. Dr. Missall has authored over 40 journal articles, technical reports, and book chapters. She serves currently as Associate Editor for the Journal of Early Intervention and on the Advisory Board of the Iowa Reading Research Center (CV attached).
