MEMORANDUM

TO: THE BUILDING USERS OF: Columbia, Friendly, HEDCO Education, McKenzie, Music & Dance, Villard and
Willamette Halls

FROM: Debbie Cadigan, Campus Relations Manager, Campus Operations on behalf of Matt Roberts,
UO Community Relations

SUBJECT: Noon Rally Events

The University of Oregon is currently negotiating with the union that represents graduate teaching and research fellows. The union is planning rallies during the noon hours each day this week in locations listed below. As the building manager, we want you to be aware of the activity, so you can share it with other occupants.
Monday, 11/17: PLC and Condon halls
Tuesday, 11/18: McKenzie and Villard halls
Wednesday, 11/19: Willamette Hall and Lewis Integrative Science Complex
Thursday, 11/20: Frohnmayer Music Building and HEDCO Education Building
Friday, 11/21: Friendly and Columbia halls
If you have appointments outside of the building, or have visitors coming to the building during this time period, please be aware of the potential for a crowd near the entrances and exits.

Picketing or other activities cannot interfere with pedestrian or vehicle flow to buildings where employees, students, visitors or others are entering or exiting. This includes interfering with other employees reporting to work, visits by the public, students attending classes, business or deliveries by trades people.

As always, the safety of all members of our community is important. Staff will be on hand to assure that the rallying group is heard, and that work-place boundaries are observed.

Best,
Matt Roberts
