PRESENTATION AND RECEPTION
OCTOBER 17 AT 3:00 IN HEDCO 340

All College of Education faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a presentation by four visiting faculty from Japan followed by a welcoming reception on Friday, October 17, in Hedco 340, at 3:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.

Our four visitors are: Dr. Mami Mitachi, Professor, Seisa University; Hideyuki Haraguchi, Researcher, National Institute of Mental Health, National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry; Shoji Okamura, Associate Professor, Hyogo University of Teacher Education; and Tsutomu Kamiyama, Researcher, National Institute of Special Needs Education.

Dr. Mitachi is a graduate of the UO Special Education Doctoral Program. She and her colleagues are visiting to learn more about COE researchers' activities related to implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports in schools and with families.

Each of the visitors will present a brief overview of their own work in Japan. Following the presentations there will be time for questions and for meeting our visitors.
