SUBJECT:     Surplus Hours & Campus Activity

Hello

This is the time of year campus has much activity occurring in preparation for students returning next month.
Below is a summary of some of the contractors working on campus projects in August & September who are not connected to the major building renovation projects


1.       Surplus Furniture Warehouse closed through Monday Sept 11th as contractor will be working at the Joe Romania Bldg.

2.       Pepsi/Bigfoot staff are changing out all beverage and snack vending machines

3.       Verizon & AT&T representative are walking through buildings testing cellular coverage strength

4.       Sept 2nd-4th: EWEB staff will be replacing water meters- excavation will occur near south west corner of Anstett Hall on 13th Street in order to access the vault

5.       Sept 8th -Sept 11th : EWEB will be working north of Lawrence Hall in parking lot 10

Hi Debbie,
I believe you keep a pulse on activities that may affect access...

EWEB plans to move forward with water meter replacement work at 990 E. 13th from 9/2 through 9/4 (see attached).  They will be excavating in the north half of E. 13th Avenue for the vault and meter replacement and will allow access east or west for emergency services in the south half of the roadway.  This is the area south of SW corner Anstett.


EWEB will then carry out water meter replacement work at 1190 Franklin Blvd north of the Lawrence Building from 9/8 through 9/11.  The area is parking lot 10, spaces 2,3,4,5 and in the fire lane access drive that is E-W along north Lawrence (see attached).  EWEB will move vehicles as needed for access (emergency or otherwise).
