See below in regards to additional electrical testing at HEDCO.  After further review and discussions with Campus Ops, we do not believe that we will experience any interruption in service but are taking precautions in the event of a power loss.

I will send out an email upon completion of the testing.

Below is the update from this week's power transfer switch testing. Rob Berg, our Electrical Supervisor has spoken with key building contacts in these buildings.


21-Aug

Fenton

6:00-7:30am

Lawrence

7:30-8:30am

Allen

8:30-10:00am

PLC

10:00-11:00am

HEDCO and Music

11:00-12:30am


On Thursday, August 21st  a contractor will be performing required testing on the life safety and standby power transfer switches in your building.

This will mean circuits supplied by life safety and standby transfer switches will have intermitted outages during the allotted time. Testing will be within the time allotted and should not start earlier or go beyond.

Life safety transfer switches will affect emergency lighting in stairwells, hallways and the fire doors will close, although they will continue to operate manually. Fire panels will continue to operate and will be re-set after testing and the fire doors will be re-opened.

Normal lighting and power will not be affected
