Charles, certainly speaks for me.

 

You did a wonderful job especially following Mike Bullis, a hard act to
follow . . . as he is a good human being.  

 

I have seen all sides of our College in my short tenure and would say that
you both have created an amazing place to work. 

 

We have much more to accomplish as we welcome you back to EDST, I am sure.

Dear Mia,  

 

I suspect I speak for many others when I say I'm sad that you did not get to
bask in the glow of our collective appreciation yesterday. I know a bit
about the challenges of administrative leadership assignments, and you have
done a superb job of leading the COE this year. Rather than simply "minding
the store" of a COE context that has been on an impressive trajectory under
former Dean Bullis's guidance, you have helped us climb even higher with
your energy and laser sharp focus. Your intelligence, grace, kindness, and
authenticity has had a lasting impact on the COE, and you have helped steer
us through a number of critically important institutional initiatives and
transitions.  

 

"Thank you" cannot begin to capture the appropriate level of appreciation
for the service you have provided to the COE community.  Know that you have
a made a real difference.

Dear COE Community,

 

My apologies for missing the end of term faculty/staff meeting. I woke up
with a case of vertigo (my first) brought on by an inner ear imbalance. Who
knew? I am confident that Lauren did a splendid job and thank her for
stepping in at the last minute.

 

I wanted to take a moment to thank everybody for their warm reception and
support this past year. It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as
interim dean of the college. I will be working closely with Randy over the
next few months to ensure a smooth transition.
