All,
One quick reminder about UO password resets.
As part of the UO's response to the Heartbleed bug, UO Information Services initiated a process to have all UO account passwords reset. They have sent out notices to all Duck ID account owners asking them to reset their Duck ID password.
In large part, the COE users have been very responsive and reset most of the over 750 account passwords. However there remain over two-hundred accounts that still need to be reset in the COE. These accounts include:
* Duck ID accounts (for faculty, staff and students in the COE)
* Departmental accounts (for generic email in department, programs or other units)
* Service or non-person accounts (for user/client support or operational needs)
All of these accounts can be managed via the Duck ID Website (https://duckid.uoregon.edu)
Many of these remaining Duck ID accounts will expire on or before May 27, 2014.
If you have not had a chance to set a new Duck ID password since the Heartbleed notifications, please take a moment to set a new password.
If you manage departmental or service accounts, please be aware that these accounts will also expire. Changing these passwords can be done through the Duck ID site as well.
Sincerely,
jeff
