Greetings,

Please join us as the University of Oregon celebrates Black History Month.  The Office of the Dean of Students and the  Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence would like to point several featured events including "Race and Football: Humanities Context for Contemporary Understanding" co-sponsored by Intercollegiate Athletics and the Oregon Historical Society.

We're also excited to welcome back godfather of Black Psychology, Dr. Joe White in his featured discussion, "Black Male Psychology: Challenges in Conflicts on the Journey of Living."  In 2012, 400 individuals welcomed Dr. White for his featured presentation for the annual Dr. King celebration.

Don't forget to stop by the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art to discover the amazing new "Emancipating the Past: Kara Walker's Tales of Slavery and Power"  exhibit.  On your way, stop by the Knight Library to discover the Black History Month photo display commemorating significant moments on campus pertaining to Black History.
