coe-staff: Survey re: COE building usage

Dear Prospective Participant,

My name is Christopher Gebhardt. I am an undergraduate student in the Architecture Department and the Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. I am conducting an anonymous survey about College of Education members’ use and opinions of informal social spaces in the College of Education as part of my Honors College thesis project. The project is an evaluation of social spaces in the recently completed (in 2009) HEDCO Education Building and the rest of the College of Education buildings on campus that I am conducting in collaboration with the UO Department of Campus Planning and Real Estate. UO Campus Planning and Real Estate conducts space quality surveys for university projects with the goal of not only improving their planning and design processes but also to gain awareness of the success and shortcomings of projects like the HEDCO Building and the other 2009 renovations to College of Education facilities. To participate, you must be 18 years or older. The survey is voluntary.

Every participant who reaches the end of the survey and submits it before January 28 will have the opportunity to enter in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the UO Duck Store. Your responses will still be anonymous if you enter the drawing.

The survey will take 15-20 minutes. Please answer the questions to your comfort level. The results will be kept anonymous and only reported for the group of respondents as a whole.
