The second annual 90by30 Child Abuse Prevention conference is coming up quickly. It is a one-day conference and will be held on Friday, February 28 at Eugene’s Valley River Inn. All are welcome.

The conference is designed to be a thought-provoking exploration of local, national, and international efforts to reduce child abuse and neglect. We will use the information presented in this conference to help us design a community-led local plan for significant reduction in child abuse and neglect in Lane County.

The conference features:

  *   Presenters from the United Kingdom’s Wave Trust – the group that is implementing a strategic plan to reduce and eliminate child abuse and neglect in the United Kingdom
  *   A keynote presentation from Dr. Tony Biglan, a researcher known worldwide for his expertise in identifying what well-researched interventions will work in the community
  *   Six practical workshops on effective strategies to reduce child abuse and neglect
  *   A session on prevention of child abuse and neglect and the approach of 90by30 to address it in Lane County
  *   Great food! Friends and colleagues! A time to share your expertise and input!
