coe-staff: Faculty CBA Implementation Visit This Friday, Dec. 13

Dear COE Community:

This message is to remind you that Doug Blandy and Barbara Altmann from Academic Affairs will be on-site in Hedco 220 from 3pm to 5pm this Friday, December 13th to discuss a couple areas of interest regarding the university's implementation of the new faculty collective bargaining agreement.

Doug and Barbara will be here to discuss the topics of status and classification and how the university is working to implement elements of the CBA in those areas: this covers the one-time reclassification of some adjunct faculty, changes to how the job/employee distinction is handled concerning merit and other salary increases, the newly-added faculty ranks, and related topics.
