coe-staff: Gifts for children still needed

To our colleagues in the College of Education:

You are strong partners in providing gifts to children and their siblings in Early Childhood CARES during this holiday season and we always appreciate your help.  This year, with the snow closure and cancelation of the COE holiday party, we have 18 tags that still need to be filled.  If you are willing to fill  gift requests for a child from a low income home,  you can email Jan Weyers at   jweyers at uoregon.edu  , and Monday she will send you a "virtual tag" with information about the child's name, age and desired items.

We had hoped to get all gifts returned by Monday, but given the weather, we realize that we will need to extend this to mid-week.

Again, if you are able to help,  please spend no more that $25 on a child's requests and bring the unwrapped gifts to Early Childhood CARES , 299 E. 18th Ave.
