Pearl Duck Autism Center, a new collaboration between the University of Oregon EARLY program at the UCEDD and Pearl Buck Center, is hosting a free talk for professionals and parents of children with autism spectrum disorders on November 11, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm at Pearl Buck Preschool
3690 West 1st Ave. Eugene, OR 97402.

Tracy Raulston, a doctoral student in Special Education, will present "Evidence-based Practices for Children with Autism". This talk will provide information and resources to parents and professionals to navigate the National Autism Center and the National PRofessional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders. Participants will leave with the ability to define established, emerging, and unestablished treatments. Tracy obtained her master's degree from Texas State University focusing in autism and applied behavior analysis. She holds six years experience as a teacher and a behavior specialist in public schools.
