Please join me in offering a well-deserved congratulations to Dr. Laura Lee McIntyre on her promotion to Full Professor, effective in September of 2013.

Laura Lee is a faculty member in School Psychology and the program director for that program. Her leadership skills in this area have been superb and in recognition of this she received the Excellence for Directors of Graduate Studies award in 2011.

As many of our students know, Laura Lee is a skilled and respected instructor and mentor. She teaches courses in school psychology that routinely attract students from outside her discipline. In addition she maintains a large and active research team and supervises undergraduate and graduate students in their research.

Dr. McIntyre's research is focused on assessment and treatment of childhood problem behavior, with a specific focus on autism spectrum disorder and early intervention. She has a successful record of obtaining federal funding to support her work and is widely recognized as an expert in her area of work.

Please join me in congratulating Dr. McIntyre on her promotion!
