Hi all,

We wanted to tell you all about a research participation opportunity for your clients in the Eugene/Springfield community--the Healthy Nests project.

The University of Oregon’s Center for Family Therapy is conducting a study to learn about couple and family dynamics through a project called Healthy Nests. In this study we are inviting couples to learn about their relationship strengths and areas for growth through a series of assessments. Relationship assessments will happen at 4 different times over 6 months.

All couples will receive Fred Meyer gift cards ($120.00) for full participation in the study. Some couples will be randomly assigned (by chance) to receive additional meetings. Eligibility criteria include:
- 1st time parents in a committed relationship, living together
- child between the ages of 6 months and 3 years
- able to speak and read English

We created and then piloted the service last year with 30 couples and collected satisfaction data. Overall, couples reported that the project was very helpful to their relationship. There are fliers attached that you can pass along to anyone that you think might be interested.
