coe-staff: Nominations for COE Outstanding Alumnus Award - Due February 1st

Dear COE Community,

Yearly, the College of Education Dean's Council honors individuals and organizations that have made a positive impact on the field of education and human services through their work or advocacy.  One of the most important awards we present is the Outstanding Alumnus Award.  This award is given each year to one individual, who has received at least one degree from the College, and whose professional contributions have national impact on educational policy, professional practice, community service, and/or research and scholarship. For a list of past recipients, please visit:  http://education.uoregon.edu/alumni-friends/previous-award-recipients. The individual receiving the award will be invited to speak the following fall at the annual college-wide orientation, which is held in the week before the academic year begins.

To nominate someone to be honored through this award, please fill out the form located online at: http://education.uoregon.edu/alumni-friends/alumni-awards. Nominations must be submitted by February 1, 2013, to be considered and all nominations will be reviewed by the College of Education Dean's Council. The award recipient will be announced in spring 2013.
