coe-staff: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Videos shown in Lokey and HEDCO on Tuesday, January 22nd

The College of Education and the Department of Education Studies encourage you, and your students to take a minute, or two, to view and reflect on videos about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The videos will be shown on Tuesday, January 22nd, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at two locations, (1) in the hallway leading to the main entrance of 124 Lokey Education and (2) in the lobby of the HEDCO building.

The videos to be rotated throughout both of these locations are;

*         I Have a Dream Speech - March on Washington, DC on August 28th, 1963

*         I Have a Dream... The Life of Martin Luther King, Jr.

*         Martin Luther King, Jr.: Letter from Birmingham Jail - A portrayal of Dr. King - behind bars - writing "Letter from Birmingham Jail" and

*         Special Features including - The Big March 1963 and The March Twenty Year Later  1983

Please consider announcing and encouraging COE students to reflect on these videos.
