Awards to Support Faculty Research, Outreach, and Development


Each year the college awards small grants on a competitive basis to faculty for research, outreach, professional development, and program projects, including lectureships, program evaluations, and course development. Funded through private donations, these special purpose awards provide financial assistance that enable faculty to undertake

new initiatives or continue work on established projects. Funding is available through this program for tenured as well as non-tenure track faculty.

Application guidelines are attached as five separate Word documents to this email:



*         Short term projects: The Baney Fund

*         Special education outreach: The Fairway Fund

*         Vocational outreach:  The Kruger Fund

*         Community outreach: The Andrea Wiggins Fund for Faculty Outreach

*         Education administration outreach and/or course development: The Skippen Fund

DEADLINE: All proposals are due January 31, 2013. Please see the attached documents for submission procedures.
