Dear COE Friends and Colleagues,

With just a little over a week to go, I want to highlight the wonderful
program that we've put together for the 4th consecutive Oregon immersive
Education Days <http://elcommons.org/> to be held this year at The
University of Oregon's Portland campus. This year, the AERA SIG devoted to
immersive learning - The Applied Research in Virtual Environments for
Learning (ARVEL SIG <http://arvelsig.ning.com/>) - is joining us for their
first mini-conference outside of the AERA Annual Meeting, something we hope
to continue for their members to build capacity for building the
evidence-base around learning with virtual worlds, video games, augmented
reality, and other emergent learning experiences.

We have room still, as registration has only recently opened
up<http://elcommons.org/oied-2012-registration-form>.
We'd love to see UO College of Education faculty and staff there to see and
become part of these exciting and substantive new learning developments.
Take a look at our program, below, and see if you can make it to one, two,
or all three daily events!

Best,

Jonathon
