Dear COE faculty and staff,
I have received several questions regarding quantitative methods courses
EMPL offers. Due to insufficient staffing, we had to adjust (and
reduce/consolidate) our course offering schedule for this academic year. We
will offer
EDLD 610 HLM I/II hybrid (Fall 2012)
EDLD 670 Analysis of Categorical & Discrete Data, which covers
logistic/ordinal/count-data regression (Winter 2013)
EDLD 661 IRT I (Spring 2013)
I understand this may require some students' program plan. Also, I
apologize that these adjustments were not communicated well to faculty and
students outside of EMPL.
For the next academic year (2013-14), our current plan is to offer:
EDLD 633 SEM I (Fall 2013)
EDLD 628 HLM I (Winter 2014)
EDLD 629 HLM II (Spring 2014)
If any change is made to this plan, we will make sure the entire college
will have the information immediately.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience, and I appreciate if you can share
this information with your graduate students. Please let me know if you
have any questions regarding this matter.
