coe-staff: Commencement Reminder

Hello,
This is just a final reminder that the College of Education Commencement Ceremony will be held Monday, June 18th at Matthew Knight Arena from 3-5 pm.  Our check in area will be at the West end of Matt Knight Arena (the entrance behind the Ford Alumni Center).

Here is our schedule for the day:
10:30 am:  Walk through for crowd control and info table folks
11:00 am:  Walk through for Platform party
1:30 pm:    Staff volunteers arrive; Fire marshal briefing
2:00 pm:    Student check in
2:15 pm:    Faculty and platform party arrive
3:00 pm:    Ceremony begins at 3:00 pm
5:00 pm:    Ceremony ends at 5:00 pm

For platform party:
Your line up area is in the MacArthur Club, located in the lower level of the arena on the North (13th St.) side.

For hooding faculty and other faculty:
Your line up area is in the lower level of the arena.  There will be staff and signs to direct you to the correct area.

For those working at the check in tables:
The student cards are preprinted with names and emails.  If they are correct, then the student doesn't need to write anything else.
Some blank cards are in each box for students who didn't register online and all the student needs to fill out is their name and email.  No other address info is necessary.
For the undergraduate tassel, Mike is going to lead the entire group in moving their tassels at the end of the ceremony.  They will all do it at the same time.

For Crowd Control, Info tables and Line Guides:
Dress is business casual.  Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you may be walking around a lot.

Volunteer badges will be provided for all staff.
