The National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality (TQ Center) is
sponsoring a series of *free webinars that address the challenges in
measuring the growth of students with disabilities for use in educator
performance evaluation*, including one that focuses on measuring student
growth for the purpose of teacher evaluation.College of Education
students may find these webinars of interest.
Established in 2005, the Cente ris supported by the US Department of
Education and operated through a cooperative venture by the American
Institutes of for Research, ETS, and Vanderbilt University. The Center
was created to serve as the premier national resource to which the
regional comprehensive centers, states, and other education stakeholders
turn for strengthening the quality of teaching and for finding guidance
in addressing specific needs, thereby ensuring highly qualified teachers
are serving students with special needs.
