<p class="MsoNormal">The Libraries’ return to normal operations in support of in-person instruction this fall will include traditional Course Reserves (print books that you want your students to be able to access for short periods). In past terms we have often
held over materials from previous instructors and terms; however, during the pandemic we largely didn’t offer print reserves, and so we want to let you know we’ve fully resumed:<o:p></o:p></p>

You can bring us your own materials or ask for library-owned materials to be placed on reserve.

If there are materials you want us to make available, but we don’t own them and you don’t have a copy we can use, we may be able to order them for you or obtain a Duck Store copy (available depending on cost and class size); please let us know as soon as possible.

If your department is buying desk copies, it may make sense to order spares through that process to use as course reserve copies.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;mso-add-space:auto;line-height:normal;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">
We will still support scanning of your personal or Library materials, and Interlibrary Loan Requests for chapters from items we don't own to host on your Canvas course.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left:0in;mso-add-space:auto;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">

<span style="color:#333333">I also wanted to remind you that during the pandemic, the library has purchased many course-adopted texts as ebooks (when possible). We continue to have access to those titles, so if you have used them over the past year or so, remember
that those are still available. I’m happy to consult with you if you have any questions in this area as well, with the caveat that many traditional textbook publishers (Pearson, Sage, Cengage, etc.) do not sell multiple user ebook licenses to libraries.
