UO Staff Study Abroad Grant


We're excited to announce that Global Education Oregon<https://geo.uoregon.edu/> (GEO) is offering grants for UO staff members interested in conducting site visits to selected GEO study abroad programs. For 2025, one to two grants will be awarded to qualified applicants.


This valuable opportunity allows staff to gain firsthand experience with our international programs and better support students considering study abroad options.

Each year a select group of GEO programs will be available for the UO Staff Study Abroad  Grant. In 2025, the following programs will be open for participation:

  *   London, England (GEO Center)<https://geo.uoregon.edu/centers-london>
  *   Segovia, Spain (GEO Center)<https://geo.uoregon.edu/centers-segovia>
  *   Oviedo, Spain (GEO Center)<https://geo.uoregon.edu/centers-oviedo>
  *   Siena, Italy (GEO Center)<https://geo.uoregon.edu/centers-siena>
  *   Faculty-led programs (with approval from participating faculty)
Advance the GEO Mission

The UO Staff Study Abroad Grant supports UO's global mission by enabling staff to experience international programs firsthand, fostering new programming opportunities, increasing awareness among those unfamiliar with Global Engagement, expanding promotion through diverse staff involvement, and furthering the university's commitment to global education and campus internationalization.
