coe-fac: Streaming video requests

Hello COE faculty,

I wanted to remind you that if you will be using any streaming videos for your teaching next term to request them in advance of when students will require access and to check on our length of access. Most of our streaming videos have a 1 year or 3 year license, after which we need to renew it. For our most popular streaming video platforms (Kanopy and Swank), video access can be requested for use in a course or research by faculty as well as GEs and graduate students for research purposes.

If there is a film you've used to teach in the past, you can do a title search for the film in the library catalog and see when the license for the title will expire (see attachment for an example). For information on how to request a Kanopy video, please see this page<https://researchguides.uoregon.edu/c.php?g=942709&p=6795405>. For other platforms (such as Swank), feel free to contact me. I'm also happy to investigate whether any streaming options are available for any new films you're interested in teaching.
