Dear COE faculty,
Do you have access to existing data sets that you would be willing to share with your COE faculty colleagues for secondary analysis purposes? If so, please take a moment to complete this brief survey<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6ES6dNn0R4Vl19r>.
Have you experienced disruptions to your own research and would like to access existing data sets shared by your colleagues for secondary analysis purposes? If so, please take a moment to complete this brief survey<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6ES6dNn0R4Vl19r>.
As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in significant disruptions to research and scholarly activities. Although the University of Oregon's staged approach<https://research.uoregon.edu/covid-19-plans-for-research-recovery> for restarting research activity currently permits limited research activities, many of our colleagues who conduct community- or school-based research, or who conduct intensive face-to-face human subjects research, are currently stalled in their research. These disruptions are uniquely challenging for our early career colleagues launching their careers.
Please be advised that any information you provide on this survey will be distributed to interested COE faculty, but completing this survey does not obligate you to share your data. Faculty members who identify potential areas of mutual interest would first connect with each other to discuss potential data sharing arrangements.
Thank you for your continued commitment to fostering research excellence in our COE community. I know this is a difficult time for all of us but supporting our faculty, and particularly our early career faculty, remains a high priority for our community. Please feel free to email me directly if you have any questions about this request.
Best wishes,
Emily
