coe-fac: Local Metrics Sessions scheduled

The following message is sent to you on behalf of Dean Kamphaus:

Dear Faculty,

The deadline for colleges to submit their local metrics (college-specific research metrics associated with both TTF and NTTF research success) has been extended until June 1. The provost's office will be hosting a series of sessions on the topic of these metrics in an effort to support colleges in their individual discussions. The COE session is scheduled for Tuesday May 8th 12:00 - 1:00 in HEDCO 230T. All faculty are encouraged to attend.

Attached please find a spreadsheet that reflects some early cross-department thinking about the local metrics that may best define our (College of Education-specific) work. These were drafted from initial discussions with Department Heads (based on their early solicitations with department faculty), and the Faculty Advisory Committee.

An initial overview of the local metrics from the Provost's office is also attached.

Please use the following Qualtrics survey link https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2gF622CIRoYz2jr to share any additional insights you may have in advance of the May 8th session hosted by the provost office. We will use the information you provide to enter that discussion with a shared sense of what may best represent and measure our research successes. The survey will remain open until May 18th to allow for adjustments after the session and to permit time for us to finalize our response as a college.
