The Leadership minor was approved with the recommendation to a) consider use of 4xx/5xx courses, and to explore the GPA requirements for the program to be sure they are rigorous but competitive.
The following were approved by the Senate (Full report at https://registrar.uoregon.edu/faculty-staff/curriculum-reports ):
· Certificate in Educational Foundations: Secondary
· Reduction in the required credits within the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling Psychology from 175 to 165 credits.

Just a quick reminder to faculty. When you approve an AE course at the department level you are indicting that the course meets your department standards for course content and level of rigor. These courses will be on the participant's transcripts with your department/program prefix and in most cases a graduate credit.
EDUC Courses and Requirements
The Curriculum Committee has been charged by The Dean to review the EDUC coursework and requirements based on the budgetary process and the request for waivers recently received by the committee. They will begin this work in winter term.
