Foundations of educational research course workgroup (Robert Horner, Kent McIntosh, Jerry Rosiek, Lisa Mazzei Elizabeth Skowron, Atika Khurana, Michael Bullis, Gina Biancarosa, chair) has identified the content for the course. They are targeting the completion of the syllabi for college approval in the spring or early fall. This course is the college wide required course for all doctoral students. They are also proposing that is 2017-2018 this course be offered in the fall. A scheduling group will meet this spring to identify a time and any other needed changes to course sequences.
Curriculum policy. The COE Curriculum Committee has been reviewing and making recommendations to the current COE policy and procedures. The plan is to circulate it for faculty comment this spring.
