Work-Life Balance: Get a Life, PhD"

This 90-minute workshop focuses on productivity, creativity and work-life balance for faculty on the tenure-track. Learn how to establish a regular writing routine amidst the demands of teaching and service, plan your time efficiently, and find time for life outside of work. Separate workshops for pre-tenure faculty and those at mid-career. Open to faculty from all disciplines, departments and schools.

Tanya Golash-Boza<http://www.ucmerced.edu/content/tanya-golash-boza>, Associate Professor of Sociology, UC Merced is the workshop facilitator. Professor Golash-Boza is a prolific scholar-in the last seven years, she has authored five books and has published more than 15 peer reviewed articles across an array of disciplines. She is also the author of the blog "Get a Life PhD<http://www.getalifephd.blogspot.com/>," which includes a wealth of articles for faculty on professional development and personal well-being and facilitates writing retreats and workshops for faculty across the country.
