Award season is upon us! The Graduate School invites nominations and applications for the following four awards:

Julie and Rocky Dixon Graduate Innovation Award
The Office of the Vice President for Research & Innovation and the Graduate School are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the Julie and Rocky Dixon Graduate Innovation Award.  This fellowship is designed to support up to four doctoral students who are interested in pursuing innovative experiences that will prepare them for careers outside of academia in areas including but not limited to industry, business, and the non-profit and government sectors.  Awards include a $14,000 stipend and more. To be eligible, students must be advanced to candidacy by Fall 2015.

Oregon Sylff Graduate Fellowship for International Research
Master's and doctoral students are eligible for this award, which recognizes graduate work involving research and scholarly endeavors in programs and projects with an international dimension. Awards of up to $6,000 are made to master's level recipients and up to $12,000 are made to doctoral level recipients. In 2014-15, six awards were made.

Graduate Teaching Excellence Award
This award recognizes outstanding teaching performances by experienced graduate teaching fellows (GTFs) who have demonstrated a commitment to developing their instructional skills, while at the same time excelling in their academic degree program. Up to two awards of $1,000 each will be made.

The Kimble First Year Teaching Award
This award is designed to recognize outstanding teaching performances by graduate teaching fellows (GTFs) leading a discussion section or lab in the first year of teaching, or as the sole instructor for a course in the first year of teaching, while maintaining a strong academic record. Up to two awards of $500 will be made.
Deadline: Friday, June 26, 2015
