coe-fac: Blackboard Update

Hi Colleagues - 
If you're not a user of Blackboard, you can stop reading now and go do something more fun.

For Blackboard users, please be aware that there is a major upgrade happening on Saturday, June 16.  The "new and improved" Blackboard that will appear after the down time will have major user interface differences, but no major content or function changes. Many of the small bugs reported in the past year are being eliminated in this upgrade.  Content from your current BB sites will not be lost and you should not have issues with downloading or upgrading grades.Watch for user trainings before fall term.  Those of us teaching in the summer (myself included) will be figuring things out on our own, but the BB support staff are always available for assistance.  There will be summaries of the changes appearing in emails and on Blackboard over the summer.
