Fiscal Year 19 Year-End Instructions and Deadlines

Good afternoon,

With our fiscal year-end quickly approaching, please take time to review the year-end departmental instructions and deadlines at https://ba.uoregon.edu/finance-and-accounting/closing-procedures. It is important for all departments to read and follow these instructions to assist the Business Affairs Office in coordinating the UO's fiscal year close, financial statement production, and annual audits.

Please make every effort to post June and remaining FY19 activity to period 12 before it closes at 5:00pm on July 9th. Any remaining activity, accruals, and adjustments need to be posted to period 14.

Certain account codes require the maintenance of subsidiary ledgers (detailed listings of transactions that comprise the balance of an account). If your department has made any entries to general ledger asset (AXXXX) or liability (BXXXX) account codes found in the list below , please maintain a subsidiary ledger to support the balances as of June 30, 2019.

B0101 - Year-end A/P Accrual
B0190 - Received Items Payable
B5120 - Prepaid Tuition & Fees
B5801 - Undistributed Revenue
B5802 - Unearned Revenue
B5817 - Unredeemed Gift Cards/Certificates
