Banner 9 - Viewing Banner Messages using the form GUAMESG

Dear Banner Users,

For those who are currently using Banner 9, there is a new way to view your Banner messages.  In Banner 8, when you log into Banner you are able to view Banner Message under "Check Banner Messages."  If there is a green check mark next to the link, then you have Banner messages regarding items that needed your attention.

In Banner 9, you will actually need to log into the General Message form (GUAMESG) and follow certain procedures in order to see ALL your Banner messages.  Please see the following link: https://ba.uoregon.edu/?q=procedure/3143 to see a new Step By Step Procedure on how to view your Banner messages in Banner 9.  You will receive no notification of Banner messages.  Banner users should make it habit to log into GUAMESG every day to see if they have disapproved Banner documents that need attention.
