Annual Risk Assessment

Dear Colleagues:

The Office of Internal Audit is performing an assessment of University operations that will assist in developing the audit plan for the coming year.  This process, known as a risk assessment, seeks to identify issues that could impact the University's ability to meet strategic, operational, financial, compliance, or other types of objectives.  Also, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, at the Suzanne Schoenfeldt Fields Library in the Ford Alumni Center, the Office of Internal Audit will host a special reception where the campus community can learn about the audit process and how they can contribute to the process through an annual survey.

You know your own operation better than anyone and may be aware of potential opportunities for improvement.  You may also be aware of potential opportunities for improvement in other areas as well.  Your input is a valuable resource as this process gets underway.
