TROUBLE-PROOF YOUR DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS

Is your department ready to function through a power outage, or a severe ice storm, or a staffing shortage from a strike or illness outbreak?

You can ensure that your department and the UO can recover from disruptions with minimal impact, by establishing plans for smooth operation during interruptions: UO Safety and Risk Services has developed Oregon Ready, a business continuity tool specifically tailored to our campus. Oregon Ready is an effective means to manage continuity plans for your department.

Oregon Ready training sessions are now available for registration on Making Tracks. This training addresses responsibilities of the department "continuity coordinator" and how to manage data entry in Oregon Ready by multiple members of a continuity team. The training focuses on departmental functions, specifically those critical to the entire university and those that can't be put off until later.
