FW: Banner HRIS Baseline Review tomorrow

Greetings;
I wanted to let you know of a Banner HRIS related presentation scheduled for tomorrow (http://hr.uoregon.edu/attachments/banner-hris-demo.msg).
Ellucian will be conducting a Baseline Review of the HRIS functionality in Banner.

In brief, Ellucian intends to:
•    Identify challenges in our current usage of Banner HR as well as opportunities for more effective use of the current functionality.
•    Assess the current processes for the development of recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
•    Identify critical issues and impacts as well as requirements and drivers.

Ellucian has identified the following audiences: HRIS and advanced Banner users, sponsor and leadership in these areas;

•        Benefits

•        Budget

•        Fiscal Operations

•        Human Resources

•        Information Technology

•        Payroll

•        Provost Office

The full presentation will be 8:30 – 5pm; though some may only want to attend specific portions.

•    10:30 am                -              Topics for Benefits Administration
•    12:00 pm                -              Lunch Break (not provided)
•    1:00 pm                   -              Topics for Employment Management
•    2:30 pm                   -              Break
•    2:45 pm                   -              Topics for Faculty Records
•    3:30 pm                   -              Topics for Payroll Processing
•    4:30 pm                   -              Wrap-up / Next Steps

Currently we’re expecting 20 – 25 attendees.
