Dear Campus:

University of Oregon (UO) has received notice from the UO Police Department that there may be fraudulent purchase orders (POs) being drafted with UO department personnel names on those POs. The fraud involves submitting fraudulent PO's submitted to vendors with requests for vendors to drop ship items to several states throughout the country, and then slating the items to be shipped to another location.

Please alert your vendors to this potential fraud and let them know if they receive a PO with a non-UO shipping address they should contact Purchasing and Contracting Services at (541) 346-2419 prior to proceeding to fill the PO.
