REMINDER: YEAR-END TRANSACTION DATES

Good Morning,

This is a reminder that when processing transactions at fiscal year-end, it is important to be aware of the
transaction date used in the document.  The transaction date determines which fiscal year the document
will post to.  Beginning July 1, banner will automatically default to the new fiscal year date.

If work was performed or goods or services were received by June 30, 2013, they must be paid from
fiscal year 13 funds.  You may change the date on your document to June 30 if processing the
transaction in July.  (Please note that banner FIS for FY13 will be closed to campus for transaction
processing as of 5:00 p.m., on July 15th.)

To make the year-end close as accurate as possible, please make every effort to post transactions
for June to period 12 before we close period 12 on July 8th at 5:00 p.m.  To allow time for transactions
to clear approval queues, be sure to post all transactions before 3:00 p.m.
