Risk Management and Insurance is hosting a Risk Management 101: Event Planning and Insurance Essentials on October 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  This session will cover the fundamental principles of managing risks associated with organizing events. Participants will learn about identifying potential risks, implementing strategies to mitigate those risks, and understanding the insurance and university policies necessary for successful event planning. The session will provide practical insights into creating safe and compliant events.  Event coordinators are encouraged to sign up, space is limited! Light catering will be provided.
