As this might be of interest to some of you, I would like to share the
recent publication of my book, *The Door of the Caliph.Concepts of the

Also, some of you might also be interested in joining the workshop *"El
Oriente en el Occidente: memorias omeyas en al-Andalus"*, which will take
place on July 7, at the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales, of the CSIC,
in Madrid, from 11.00 to 13.00, with *zoom transmission*. Most of the
presentations will be in Spanish, but we welcome everyone to participate in
the debate also in English. Please find all the information in the poster
