El proyecto Petrifying Wealth

<http://cchs.csic.es/es/personal/ana.rodriguez>) destinará una partida 
presupuestaria para dotar un contrato de tres años para la realización 
de una tesis doctoral, con inicio el 16 de abril de 2018.

El lunes 18 de diciembre de 2017 se abre una convocatoria de propuestas 
para que los solicitantes puedan presentar su candidatura para optar a 
un puesto de tres años para la realización de una tesis doctoral en 
torno al siguiente tema: "La petrificación de la riqueza: construcción 
en piedra e identidad social en Castilla-León, siglos XI-XIII". La 
convocatoria permanecerá abierta hasta el 15 de enero.

Los solicitantes deberán poseer el título de máster o estar a punto de 
obtenerlo al inicio del contrato en una disciplina relevante para el 
proyecto (Historia, Historia del arte, Arquitectura, Arqueología, con 
especialización en el período medieval). El puesto se ubicará en el 
Instituto de Historia (IH-CCHS-CSIC - Madrid) y la tesis se realizará 
mediante cotutela entre el CSIC y cualquier otra institución académica 
relevante. Se requiere presencialidad.

Ingreso anual: 26.474,42 € (G1 AGE)

*PhD fellowship ERC project Petrifying Wealth. IH-CCHS-CSIC*

Funds have been allocated in the project Petrifying Wealth 
<http://petrifying-wealth.mozello.es/home/>(Instituto de Historia 
<http://ih.csic.es/>, CCHS-CSIC, principal investigator Ana Rodríguez 
<http://cchs.csic.es/es/personal/ana.rodriguez>) for one three-year 
predoctoral fellowship contract to begin on 16th April 2018.

The call for applications for this PhD fellowship within the field of 
History will open on 18 December 2017 and close on 15 January 2018. The 
PhD project should propose research issues relating to: "The 
petrification of wealth: stone building and social identity in Castile 
and Leon 11th-13th centuries".

Applicants must hold a MA degree or be about to obtain it by the start 
date of the contract in a subject relevant to the project (i.e. History, 
Art History, Architecture, Archeology, with focus on the medieval 
period). The position will be based at the Instituto de Historia 
<http://ih.csic.es/>(IH-CCHS-CSIC - Madrid); the PhD will be codirected 
by the CSIC and a relevant academic institution. Physical presence in 
Madrid is required.

Annual salary income: 26,474.42€
